Programmers interested in coding educational software for tablets and teaching English in Japan are encouraged to apply to ArtLingual Institute, a language school specializing in English and European Languages and a learning materials development company with 25 years of experience.
5 days, 40 working hours/week. 250,000 yen per month, completion bonus, progressive salary increase, one-half health insurance, and over 25 paid holidays a year. Accommodation provided close to the school. The apartment is supplied with basic furnishings.
As an instructor, you will be teaching kids and adults classes in small group settings. The curriculum, materials, and training are fully provided by ArtLingual and follow a format that is easy to pick up for both student and instructor. But instructors must also be creative and have a willingness to learn ArtLingual’s teaching methods in addition to improving their own teaching skills. Japanese language ability, as well as teaching experience is helpful, but not necessary.
As a programmer, you will be developing with our designers and planners online games and educational software (like Bitsboard or LinguPingu) based on our existing visual and audio materials, as well as writing, testing, maintaining and improving the source code of our computer system.
