Shukugawa Bible Church in Nishinomiya, Japan, is seeking a passionate, uplifting, encouraging, spiritually-led, Bible-believing Missionary English Teacher to help the body of Christ in an unreached, unengaged country of Japan. This Missionary English Teacher will cooperate with Japanese church members to help leading weekday outreach program and become the gateway to the gospel for those who has never heard of the Bible before. Since our church started in 1970 by TEAM missionary as Shukugawa Christian Center, our English conversation school has been a successful tool for reaching new seekers consecutively. Currently we employ five American Missionary English Teachers who teach at the school and serve at our church.
This is a wonderful ministry that's great for anyone seriously considering missions. While any TESL experience or knowledge of Japanese would be helpful, neither are required; however, flexibility, a servant's heart, commitment and love for Jesus and for the Japanese people are essential. Because of the ministry focus and living situation, Americans in their 20's and 30's are the best fit for this position.
