Our School is a preschool and ESL school in Matsue, Shimane.
It was established in 2010 and started with only 1 teacher and about 10 students. We now have 10 teachers and over 200 students.
We are now looking for a teacher who can join our team.

Looking for:
-A teacher who likes teaching and spending time with young children.
-A teacher who is focused on improving students’ English language skills.
-A teacher who communicates ideas, thoughts, concerns, and mistakes openly as part of a team of teachers continually trying to improve themselves.
-A teacher who is willing and eager to evolve their teaching skills.
-A teacher who is willing and eager to pick up new and different teaching materials and strategies.
-A teacher who is committed to working at our school for at least 1 year.

Conditions:
-Working hours: Full time position (8 hours of work a day)Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00a.m - 8:00p.m./ 10:00a.m - 7:00p.m
Work includes teaching, preparation time, and a one-hour break

Responsibilities:
-Teaching English to students; kindergarten, elementary, jr. high, and high school age.
-Lesson planning and material preparation.
-School up-keep, cleaning, and maintenance.
-School event participation.

Teaching Goals
At our school, we look at all our individual students and find what they need to succeed. Beginners need a strong base. We encourage new students to use tons of English, all while joking, laughing, and playing with the language. We provide explanation when necessary. We want to make sure new students understand what they are saying. Along with a language base, students need encouraging. Students need to be able to have freedom to manipulate language and make errors. Teachers should recognize effort as much as achievement.
