All of our teachers are part of our team. We support, encourage, and challenge each other to improve ourselves and our lessons. We teach, converse, and learn with each other. We are observant of each other’s needs and step up to fill those needs. We are strongest together.
Teaching Goals
At Apple Leaf, we look at all our individual students and find what they need to succeed. Beginners need a strong base. We encourage new students to use tons of English, all while joking, laughing, and playing with the language. We provide explanation when necessary. We want to make sure new students understand what they are saying. Along with a language base, students need encouraging. Students need to be able to have freedom to manipulate language and make errors. Teachers should recognize effort as much as achievement.
