Our School is looking for a kind, engaging, fun-loving teacher.
We are looking for someone to help our preschool and teach our afterschool program.
We offer visa sponsorship for international teachers.
ABOUT US
Our School (Shimane, Japan) was established in 2010 and started with about 10 students.
We now have over 200 students.
We have a staff of 8 including 3 international teachers.
We aim to instruct students with an open heart and open mind in order to build relationships and share experiences with students.

LOCATION
Our School is located in the center of Matsue city in Shimane prefecture. Shimane is in the countryside of Japan, The main part of the city has many conveniences and is surrounded by beautiful tree-covered mountains, and Lake Shinji. There are many historical charming locations and traditions throughout the region. Since Matsue is located in the west on the north coast, it is mostly separated or protected from earthquakes or typhoons.
Looking for a teacher who:

Teachers are responsible for teaching in English, students of all ages, but mainly elementary school age students.
We are looking for someone who can enjoy sharing learning opportunities through various sources such as songs, books, games, dances, activities, crafts, holidays celebrations, parties and more.
We also want teachers to manage lesson materials and maintaining a safe, fun, clean, interactive school environment.
Teachers should have a growth mindset and be forthcoming to fellow teachers and parents about students’ difficulties and successes, physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Requirements:
-Native English speaker
-Bachelor’s degree
Responsibilities:
-Assisting, at times teaching, our Preschool program.
-Teaching elementary school students as part of our afterschool program.
-Follow lesson plans based on a school lesson schedule.
-Prepare materials needed for the lessons.
-Participate in teachers’ meetings.
-Communicate with parents about lessons and students.
-Participate in our school’s up-keep, including: cleaning, fixing, adding, organizing, etc.

Conditions:
-Contract period 1 year (renewable)
-Working hours: Full time position (8 hours of work a day)Monday-Friday, 9:30a.m - 6:30p.m.
Work includes teaching, preparation time, and a one-hour break
-Benefits: Health Insurance, pension, transportation
-Accommodation: We can assist you in finding a place.
-Holidays: Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays, summer and winter holiday.(128 days)
